Celebrating the passion at the core of each brand, adidas and Missoni offer these women’s running shorts, complete with signature details. Accenting the orange base with the Italian label’s iconic multicoloured knit, they’re finished with ever-present Three-Stripe branding down each outseam.Ottavio Missoni was a track athlete, joining the Italian track team in 1937 and eventually competing with the Italian Track team at the 1948 Olympics. Between the end of the war and the Olympics, he began experimenting with making flexible warm wool track suits for athletes which were worn by the Italian team in 1948. By the 1950’s him and his wife started their knitwear business that we all know and enjoy. 5 years ago they did a collab with Adidas which lead to these fun knit shorts, which I can’t help but think reflect those original track suits in 1948. 80% Polyester, 20% WoolIn very good condition.
